PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR

 

· Provide residents with community services and programs.

· Serves as an advocate and liaison for and on behalf of residents with local social services and educational institutions with the expected result of enhancing work opportunities and positive self-realization.

· Functions as the link between property management and residents.

· Maintain an active file on each household. Contact assigned homes daily for pertinent information and census.

· Forward census to property manager and other appropriate team members.

· Participate in client pre-placement planning. Conducts orientation, initial, quarterly and annual assessment of individual client needs.

· Facilitate community resource availability based on client needs (daycare program, guardian, etc.) to assure maximum social integration.

· Evaluates facilitate and monitor services and clients progress in relationship to established goals and objectives.

· Assist in organizing a viable resident association. Interact with resident association ensuring that specific goals are met through ongoing needs assessments reviews.

· Advise management of potential issues or problems that have an effect on the community.

· Conduct home visits on an as needed basis.

· Produce an informative newsletter that notifies residents of upcoming events and various programs.

 

NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK COMITER CENTER COORDINATOR

 

· Teach basic computer skills .

· Assist with resume writing, faxing and posting on the internet.

· Provide direction with skill identification through one-on-one counseling.

· Resident computer repair, website building.

· Supervise transportation staff and services provided to the residents.
